Welcome to our Stitch 'n' Bitch group based in the Correze France
Knitters unite! Welcome to Stitch'nbitch french style. Pinnyporn in the land of the crossover apron. Bringing Pinnyporn to Pompadour.
Based in the most rural part of France the Limousin. Our group includes English, French and Dutch stitchers. Our remit is wider than usual to include patchwork and other stitches. We meet every fortnight on a Tuesday 10am to 12pm at the Auberge de l'Etrier in Beyssac a short distance from Pompadour. Any knitters, sew 'n' sews etc welcome, or come and learn something new.
Lovely drinks and homemade cakes. What else are you going to do on a Tuesday morning? Count your logs? Polish your oak?
Come and knit and natter instead.
The Vide Grenier at Pompadour in August is an ideal occasion to have a fun french day out and sell all those bits you brought out thinking they will come in useful but never got around to using! We are having a row of stalls so come and have a good day out. We made 400 Euros last year.

I was reading the blog about daylight bulbs. If anyone would like one bringing over, Steve can do this for us as he has already brought one home for me. So far he has only found bayonet style ones, but if anyone is interested, email me samstevefrance@aol.com
A highway patrolman pulled alongside a speeding car on the freeway. Glancing at the car, he was astounded to see that the blonde behind the wheel was knitting! Realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing lights and siren, the trooper cranked down his window, turned on his bullhorn and yelled, "PULL OVER!" "NO!" the blonde yelled back, "IT'S A SCARF!
